AI Regulatory Sandbox Experiments

The Center for AI Regulation and Policy at the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Israel Innovation Authority, the Department of Counseling and Legislation (Economic Law), the Regulation Authority, and the Budget Department at the Ministry of Finance, invites government ministries to submit proposals for the design and management of pilot programs and regulatory sandboxes (Regulatory Sandbox), aimed at enabling and promoting the development and adoption of artificial intelligence within their areas of responsibility.
The proposals will be evaluated on a competitive basis according to the criteria detailed below, and selected proposals will receive budgetary support of up to NIS 1 million in total, as well as professional and legal guidance.
The deadline for submissions: October 16, 2025.
