Promoting gender equality in the tech industry

The IGF was one of the rist members to joing a collective impact initiative dedicated to promoting gender equality in the tech industry. As a dominant force within the policy and regulation sub-group, the IGF is instrumental in shaping strategies and advocating for policies that advance gender diversity and inclusion. This public-private partnership seeks to address the underrepresentation of women in the technology sector by focusing on key areas such as supporting women entrepreneurs, increasing the number of women in tech management positions, and achieving a 50-50 gender balance in representation.
